Homework: Wanuskewin blog post

Just a reminder that students should be completing their blog post on our trip to Wanuskewin over the weekend. They need to write a paragraph:

  • What did we do?
  • What did you learn?
  • What was the best part?
  • What advice do you have for other grade 6 classes who are going next week?
  • CHALLENGE: Can you add pictures, videos, or links to websites that connect to what you are writing about?

Any students are unable to log in, having tech problems, etc. I can provide time for them next week to quickly finish.

    Wanuskewin Trip

First my class watched a movie about Wanuskewin. Then we moved on to the traditional games then we went and did some bow and arrow shooting. Then it was lunch time after lunch it was time to have a little recess and then to finish the day we went on a nice walk that is what we did. We learned about the history of the rocks and the tepee. The best part for me was the bow and arrow shooting to me it was fun. I would recommend to bring warm clothes and to maybe bring money because the gift shop is very cool.
