Book Club Meeting Times

We have started Book Clubs in ELA! Every student has selected a book club book and has determined meetings dates with their group. It is incredibly important that group members come prepared to each meeting with: the book read to the page required, their thinking recorded and ready to share, and one discussion question to pose to the group.  Mrs. Hamel or I will be present at each meeting. In addition to comprehension and understanding of the text, the primary assessment will come from the group discussions and conversations.

Meeting dates are as follows:

Wednesday, March 29:

  1. Number the Stars (p.39)
  2. Son of a Gun (p.30)

Thursday, March 30
