Hello! Here’s what’s happening in 7Korver:
- ELA- Book club books must be finished by Friday, May 11. We will be doing some wrap-up activities on how stories are powerful and empowering. All writing assignments should be submitted to me by Monday, May 14. Many students are still working on their first draft and may need to spend time at home working on it this week. I am looking for students to show me evidence of the writing process rather than just submitting a finished product. They will need to demonstrate evidence of their pre-write, draft and revise stage (evidence of adding, deleting, reordering), and the editing stage (correct grammar errors, spelling, punctuation, etc).
- Math- We are currently working on finding the area of circles. We will wrap this up with an exit card and a project- design a water park later this week.
Reminders and important dates:
- Dental sealant forms were sent home last week with students, they must be returned to the school ASAP indicating if your child will or will not participate.
- May 18- No school
- May 21- No school
